<p style="text-align:justify">The La Grille Massif is at the north of Grande Comore, in the region of Maweni Mboudé. It is a dormant shield volcano which rises to 1080m. It is home to nearly 120 volcanic cones, out of the 300 which can be found on the island. For those who like adventure, La Grille is made for you. There is a beautiful, 2 hour hike in the region, for those who enjoy walking. You have the chance to see the tropical forests of Ngazidja as well as numerous species of butterflies. A spring coming from the volcanic hills provides fresh, cool, and potable water.</p>
